A recent addition to the Fincas Mierisch family. With its relative high altitude and unique micro-climate, La Huella is producing some of our favorite coffees. We do not have trees specifically aimed at providing shade for the trees, however, this region of Matagalpa is known for receiving heavy fog for roughly 6 months out of the year (the rainy season in Nicaragua). As our farm manager, Erick Lopez, said the farm in a way "auto-shades" itself. La Huella is right next to our other farm, Mama Mina.
